Connect Gmail to your Grasp Inbox

Enhance your productivity by seamlessly integrating your Gmail inbox with Grasp. By doing so, you can consolidate various communication channels into a single inbox, enabling collaborative efforts to provide exceptional customer support.

To integrate your Gmail inbox with Grasp, please follow the instructions below:

1. Log in to your
Google Admin console using your Administrator account.
2. Navigate to Security > Access and data control > API controls.

3. Choose ‘Manage Third-Party App Access‘.


4. Click on ‘Add app‘ and select ‘OAuth App Name Or Client ID‘.
5. Search for “https://671244310658-ataltqlg1d4pjib2en93jn1upofsousb.apps.googleusercontent.com“.

Select ‘Grasp‘ from the search results and click ‘Add‘.

 

Adding your Gmail account

  • When logged into your Grasp inbox, click on your profile in the upper left to go the admin settings. Then select ‘Mailboxes‘ under the ‘Channels‘ category menu.
  • Click the plus icon at the top of the page.
  • Select the Gmail (G-Suite / Workspace) option.
  • Provide a name for the mailbox. This name will not be visible to your customers. Click ‘Connect’ to continue.
  • A popup will appear, asking for your permission to connect your Gmail account. If you are not logged into your Gmail account, you will be asked to log in.
  • Click the ‘Accept‘ button to grant permission to connect your Gmail account to Grasp.
  • In a few moments, the page will refresh, and the mailbox will be added to your account. Try sending a message to your Gmail mailbox to see if the message arrives in your Grasp inbox.
